EPA Publishes Regulations.gov ICR Renewal Notice

Today the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a 30-day information collection request (ICR) renewal notice in the Federal Register (77 FR 73999-74000) for the ‘feedback exchange’ website supporting the Federal eRulemaking Portal (www.Regulations.gov).

I know, in the great scheme of things, this is a really inconsequential ICR. I just had to comment briefly on it because it is the EPA submitting this ICR; I would have thought that it should have been the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) that would be running this portal not the EPA. But, according to the ‘About Us’ page on the portal web site, it is the EPA that is the ‘managing partner’ for this enterprise since 2002. Who knew?
