Bills Introduced – 04-06-17

With both the House and Senate getting ready to leave town for their annual two-week Easter Recess there were 174 bills introduced. The vast majority of these bills will never see consideration and were introduced solely to provide talking points in campaign and fund raising activities over the next two weeks.

Of the 174 bills introduced yesterday there was only one that may be of specific interest to readers of this blog:

HR 1981 To codify an office within the Department of Homeland Security with the mission of strengthening the capacity of the agency to attract and retain highly trained computer and information security professionals, and for other purposes. Rep. Jackson Lee, Sheila [D-TX-18]

I really doubt that this bill will have industrial control system inclusive language, but you never know until you get a chance to read the actual language.
